The Loot Ladder is now open to Public Beta Testing if you identify any problems or have any suggestions please forward them to admin.

Although this site was initially set up with World of Warcraft, it has specifically been left open to allow Lord of the Rings online and Age of Conan Players to make use of the system. We would be interested in hearing from people that have discovered a limitation of this system for other MMORPGs.

Using Loot Ladder

Registration is required to set up and administer your own loot ladder. Members of the raid who wish to view a loot ladder are not required to register.

About Loot Ladder

The Loot Ladder is a system for managing the distribution of loot, designed specifically for World of Warcraft raiding guilds. Although there are a number of loot systems available, such as EPGP and DKP we prefer the Loot Ladder as it provides a number of advantages these include:

• It results in a fair distribution of loot across the whole raid.
• Is fair for PUG's and new guildies. (Particularly important when you are recruiting)
• Is simple and easy to use.
• Can be maintained over any time period. (One night, 1 raid, 1 week etc.)
• High end players can hold their positions and rise up the ladder while waiting for that last item they require to drop off the last boss while other members pick up multiple lower level items.
• And, encourages people to think about what they really need rather than just rolling on everything and anything.

We have provided some guidelines for the use of the loot ladder, however feel free to adapt them however to suit your own specific needs.
